VICKI BOLEN NAMASTE QUILT BLANK GREETING CARD - This is not just a greeting card. It is an original piece of art...created by the American artist, Vicki Bolen. Since each card is handmade and signed by the artist, no two are exactly the same. Recipients often view the card as a special gift and as art suitable for framing.

The artist met a woman making paper and sculptures in 1984. She was awestruck by observation of the cycle of trees, plants, papers, recycle, art, and back to nature. After her first intense workshop of printmaking and bookbinding, it was confirmed that paper and art would be an important part of her life. She also studied collage, origami, papermaking, and collecting objects in order to create beauty and ideas. Her art is intended to inspire feelings, storytelling, and communication.

Vicki Bolen earned her B.A. from California State College in Interior Design. She worked for 15 years in retail management and her stores were always considered outstanding in creative merchandising and display. She later opened her own store - a unique paper and textile gift gallery, which featured her own work and that of other artists. Some of her favorite activities include yoga, biking, and cooking beautiful gourmet food. Vicki currently lives in New Mexico.
