KAY NELSON SILVER HEART ANNIVERSARY BLANK GREETING CARD - This is not just a greeting card. It is an original piece of art...created by the American artist, Kay Nelson. Since each card is handmade and signed by the artist, no two are exactly the same. Recipients often view the card as a special gift and as art suitable for framing.

The artist is constantly searching for new materials and inks that will lend a unique look and texture to her collage cards, as well as a depth not usually found in paper products. The designs started out as small studies for her larger wall pieces. Much of her work reflects the influence of her roots as a printmaker and jeweler, and more recent works have evolved from working with metals and combinations of materials used in jewelry. The card and envelope are made from recycled paper.

Kay Nelson lives and works in Northern California. She earned her B.A. from Muskingum College in Ohio and has been self-employed since college. Kay started out as a printmaker and worked in clay and paper, as well as costume jewelry.
