This magnificent alliance between Diptyque and fashion designer John Galliano was in the making for over two years. The scent is reminiscent of birch wood embers smoldering in a log house reflecting the primitive, yet sophisticated nature of this precious aroma which evokes an image of the caravan posts on the silk route. At its heart is a subtle woody fragrance, tinted with hints of iris, crowned with a touch of vanilla musk. The packaging of the candle is based on John Galliano's trademark logo - an English broadsheet lettered with semi-Gothic characters on a base of sepia. Available in candles and room mists. Diptyque candles burn for an averager of 50 to 60 hours.
